Our military veterans are a precious resource and a national treasure. As a US Navy Veteran myself, I am dedicated to supporting my fellow veterans, and want to ensure that they are well respected and cared for. I am saddened by the fact that 20 veterans commit suicide a day because of lack of care, long waits for medical care, homelessness, and a variety of other issues. This is a national tragedy and must be dealt with.
